After 3 weeks of taking pictures with my new, very old, Polaroid Land 103, I have to say I'm addicted to instant film. This camera has zero bells and whistles, no autofocus, no timer, no setting other than manual yet it still produces amazing little pieces one after another.
More pics and some info on where to pick one up for yourself after the jump...

I ran into Barry Craig at the market just down from Rough Trade on Brick Lane. Barry was selling old Polaroid Land cameras that he had restored and retro fitted with new triple AAA battery packs. I've had mine for 3 weeks and like I said I'm addicted. The film is really easy to get and much cheaper than I expected. I think you can get the Fuji 100 film at stores for about 10 pounds a box (basically a pound a picture) but I've found some great deals online like, 5 boxes for 26 pounds.

Barry's retrofit seems to do the trick too. The exposures are just about spot on and the lens is great. A few scuffs here and there but considering the camera is probably over 50 years old it still fires true every time. I've even picked up two more in the US on ebay that I plan to tinker with over Christmas. If you've got a few pounds though I highly recommend getting in touch with Barry Craig if you're in London and getting one from him.
